The year it all started, while in school, I had my first brush with writing. I teamed up with two fellow students to start a school magazine.

The writing bug had bit me big time, I was spending most of my time editing and putting together the school magazine much to the dismay of my parents.

Graduated from school, moved to college, but the writing bug has latched on. This time around, it is the annual college magazine.

A year of many firsts, my first writing assignment for youth supplement of The Indian Express, my first byline and my first pay cheque.

Freelanced for various Indian newspapers, magazines and created course structure for educational institutes.

While still in college, I interned with a broadcast media company, where I learned all about the communication business. This year I also went on to write advertising copy for few local agencies.

Graduated from college, thanks to my previous experience, I got an offer to head some of content channels with a leading Indian portal. Discovered writing can get you your bread, butter and a piece of apple pie too.

Web copywriting is all what I did every single day apart from dabbling in formulating marketing strategy for the portal. My interest in marketing developed simply because I wanted the content written by my team to reach larger audience.

Moved to interactive solutions arm of the portals parent company. Here I formulated e-branding strategies and DM programs for clients like Johnnie Walker, AT; T, ICICI Bank, Dominos Pizza, L 'oreal, Kodak and many others.

I also worked with traditional agencies to help their clients achieve various communication objectives through Interactive Media.

Joined Mobile Content division of India’s largest media house – Times Group, where managed content distribution and carrier partnerships.

Bit by the entrepreneurial bug, started an interactive agency with my brother Samir.
